When i install obs the download stops halfway and says the feature im trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailuable. It also says click OK to try again, or enter amd alternete path to a folder containing the installation package vc_runtimeminimum_x64.msi

@@Wicjones wanna use that with a mic ? So mic and headphones at the same time ? Over 1/4 inch
@@LiveProductionTips it’ll just need to be a mic, I’m hoping to plug it in to my UAD interface as an input. I have a regular one that I use for headphones but not sure if it’ll work, going to give it a try here shortly.
@@Wicjones If its just a mic you do not need TRRS, because the TRRS has 2 rings one for the mic another for stereo audio, they are usually used for speakers + a mic, so in your case just a TRS should work

Notice how even though your secondary stream (in this case facebook, 6000 kilobits) is not being monitored in OBS only the RUclips bitrate is being monitored. Im talking about the little green bars at the bottom of OBS, it's only monitoring the upload for youtube and not the upload for facebook, so it stays around 10,000 instead of 16,000. I guess this is because RTMP is a plugin and not part of the official software.

There some paid Apps that can do it through custom RTMP, you have to set it up in RUclips as well

great tutorial video, I set it for auto and the message stays on screen and I don't have access to obs unless I tab out of the game and click on it so my question is while in auto mode is there a way for the message to have a set amount of time and then fade away?
@@ezryder0075 if it’s on Auto it stays on screen but keeps getting replaced by every new message, you can also set the duration back in the extension just remember to grab the link again once done with all the settings and update in your OBS source

Great video. Extremely helpful with out trying to fill up time with a bunch of BS! So thanks! I have a question - new to this. Is it possible to have multiple cameras and live stream to IG from OBS? My wife is a jewelry artist and would like to have one camera on her and another camera focused on a flat surface to show jewelry. Ideally, I would like to be able to live switch between camera views (Show wife talking, then switch to image of the jewelry).

How do you get around the 30min video recording time? If I’m doing one hour zoom meetings? Like the camera has 30min recording time
A Zoom meeting will not depend on the camera recording limit, that's only when you are recording internally on a camera but for zoom or live streaming it's more about the camera staying on and connected to zoom

I use these for a use case where I need the specific capabilities of a certain webcam but I need to transmit the signal over ndi. Sadly, they seem to be rather unstable and I have had to go back to using separate uvc to to hdmi encoder connected to an hdmi to ndi encoder. Hopefully a firmware update will resolve the issues.
